Horseback rides in the Mastbos forest

Going back in time with a horse
The Mastbos with its centuries old flora and fauna is the home to many of the Dutch and European birds. With a bit of luck you may come across predator birds, rabbits, wild goose or even dears.

This forest with a history of 500 years, promises the feeling to ride through a time of the past. We offer the possibility to experience this environment in the most suitable way; on the back of a horse.

Experienced riders may jump on directly, whereas beginners first get one or more starting lessons.

First Forrest Horseback Ride
Refreshment of the Starting Lesson and a 45 min ride in the Mastbos € 25,00

Forrest Horseback Rides
Walk, trot and gallop, 1,5 hrs up to 2 hr (advanced) € 40,00

Forrest Horseback ride in combination with a carriage tour
Especially for groups of up to 9 persons, there is a fun alternative to a regular horseback ride. We take not only horses to ride on with us, but also a carriage with a Fjordenpony in front of it. On the way, the participants change from riding to joining the carriage. This arrangement is not only a suitable arrangements for the less experienced riders, but it is also a lot of fun for advanced riders, children and anybody else.
